Delaware State Univesity Alumni Chapters are chartered units of the national Alumni Association and are organized to facilitate alumni efforts on behalf of the University.

The Role of Alumni Chapters

  1. Fund Raising - giving and raising funds to support the University programs.
  2. Recruitment - sending sons and daughters to Delaware State University, and sons and daughters of others.
  3. Image Building - (Public Relations) saying and doing those things that perpetuate a positive image of DSU.
  4. Government Relations - influencing legislation that will support the University's priorities.
