Alumni Scholarships
The following is a listing of scholarship awards available to Delaware State University students through the DSU Alumni Association and its chapters.Students who meet the criteria and conditions as stated under each listing, may apply for any scholarship for which they are eligible. Scholarship awards sponsored by individuals and chapters which do not appear in this brochure are also available from time to time. Adopt-A-School
Each chapter has noted its intentions of or have adopted a school in their local area. The chapters will find recruitment of students to be easier as the parents of these students are added to the chapter mailing list. The fundraising activities will now include these parents.

DSU Alumni and Friends Twilight March
|
The Twilight March is a take-off on the historic Million Man
March, which was held in Washington, D. C., in October 1995. The
Twilight March seeks to re-create the spirit and posture of that
remarkable occasion. The impetus and inspiration for the Twilight March comes directly from the word of our Alma Mater* which includes the lines, "E're shall we heed Thy call, Ne'er shall we fail Thee..." The intent is to bring DSU alumni together, at a pivotal time in the university's history, for a day of celebration and acclamation, and for a display of support for the University and its mission. The Alumni and Friends Twilight March program is under the leadership of a corps of alums dedicated to keeping the DSU spirit alive. Committee members are considering a new direction for the program. DSU Diploma Replacement
Alumni who earned degrees from Delaware State College, and who wish
to replace their original DSC diploma with a Delaware State
University diploma, may contact the Records Office at 302-857-6375. The replacement fee is $12.50.

Membership
|
All chapters of the DSU Alumni Association are eagerly seeking members. Membership is open to graduates and former students of DelawareState University. Memberships are also available to spouses, parents, and to faculty and staff of the University. Some stipulations apply, verifiable through the local chapters or the Office of Alumni Affairs. All eligible persons are welcome to join! The membership committee continues to explore ways and means to attract and retain alumni as active Alumni Association members. The DSUAA will make every effort to communicate and invite our fellow alumni back into the DSU family. Many alumni have expressd a desire to get involved, but want more information about alumni programs. As a result, the DSUAA Web Site has been created to provide timely dissimination of information and events, as well as provide a vehicle for communication within our global community. The task of increasing DSUAA membership is not a one-person job. It takes everyone, working together, to spread the "Old DSU Spirit"! Let us unite to build a partnership of support! Affinity Credit Card Program The DSU Alumni Association, in conjunction with MBNA America, offers the DSU Alumni credit card. MBNA offers personalized service, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Low rates; no annual fee; and the Alumni Association earns rebates each time the card is used.
