A Message from the President

Welcome to the National Pan Hellenic Council, Santa Clara Valley Chapter website!

This site is designed as a tool to provide current information on events and contacts for members of the National Black Greek Letter Organizations (NBGLO) in the area.

In this New Year SCVPHC is committed to being a hub of information for the NBGLOs to provide fraternal support, networking, and events that are in sync with the national theme, "Unified in our Quest to Shape the Future."

As all organizations are different and independent, we realize that together, as a collective organization we can address the educational, civic, and social issues that impact our communities. There is strength in numbers!

Profile

The National Pan Hellenic Council, Santa Clara Valley Chapter was established as an area coordinating body for the nine historically African American Sororities and Fraternities. The Council provides varied support member organizations desire, maintains and publicizes a coordinated calendar of activities and events, sponsors all-greek social & networking events, and assists member chapters in hospitality for visiting national and regional officers.

The Council will continue to support and promote member organizations' plans and programs. All seven greek organizations have implemented many community service programs, most with special emphasis on youth. We are proud of our community involement and contributions to-date, and will strive to make a greater impact in the future.

The National Pan Hellenic Council, Santa Clara Valley Chapter was organized in November of 1985, and chartered in 1986. The council is composed of nine National Greek letter sororities and fraternities.
